How do I manage saved document folders?

Saved document folders offer a convenient way to organize content within your organization for quick reference. Whether it's product training materials or vendor documentation, grouping related content can streamline access and enhance productivity.

Below is a step-by-step guide on managing saved document folders within your MSP company profile.

How to add folders

  1. Navigate to NaviStack from the side navigation.
  2. Click on Saved Documents.
  3. Select Add Folder.
  4. Enter a name for the folder.
  5. Optionally, provide a folder description.
  6. Optionally, assign tag(s) to the folder.
  7. Optionally, choose a folder color.
  8. Click Save.

How to add files

 Before adding files, ensure that any necessary branding or folder creation is completed. 

How to add a single file

  1. Locate the file within the list of Saved Documents.
  2. Click the three-dot icon and select Add to Folder.
  3. Choose the desired folder from the list.
  4. Click Save.

How to add files to a single folder

  1. Scroll through the Folders carousel or click See All to locate the folder.
  2. Open the folder.
  3. Click Add Content.
  4. Search for or scroll through the available content list.
  5. Check the box next to the file(s) to be added.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Confirm the action by clicking Yes.

How to add files to multiple folders

  1. Click Add Content to Folder(s) from the Folders carousel.
  2. Optionally, filter content by selecting tag(s).
  3. Select the file(s) to be added.
  4. Choose the folder(s) for the files.
  5. Repeat steps 3-4 for additional content.
  6. Click Add Content.

Pro Tips:

  • If you’ve selected the wrong folder(s), click the edit pencil to update the selection.
  • If you’ve selected the wrong file, click the trashcan to delete the selection.

How to organize folders

You have the flexibility to organize folders according to your preference.

  1. Click See All in the Folders carousel.
  2. Select Organize Folders.
  3. Drag and drop folders to arrange them as desired.
  4. Once satisfied with the order, click Save.

How to manage folder content

For this we’re going to focus on removing content from a folder.

How to remove a file

Removing a file from a folder does not delete it permanently. To delete the item permanently refer to: How do I manage my brandable documents?

  1. Locate the folder containing the file.
  2. Open the folder.
  3. Click the three-dot icon on the file.
  4. Choose Remove.
  5. Confirm the removal by clicking Yes.
