Saved document folders offer a convenient way to organize content within your organization for quick reference. Whether it's product training materials or vendor documentation, grouping related content can streamline access and enhance productivity.
Below is a step-by-step guide on managing saved document folders within your MSP company profile.
How to add folders
- Navigate to NaviStack from the side navigation.
- Click on Saved Documents.
- Select Add Folder.
- Enter a name for the folder.
- Optionally, provide a folder description.
- Optionally, assign tag(s) to the folder.
- Optionally, choose a folder color.
- Click Save.
How to add files
Before adding files, ensure that any necessary branding or folder creation is completed.
How to add a single file
- Locate the file within the list of Saved Documents.
- Click the three-dot icon and select Add to Folder.
- Choose the desired folder from the list.
- Click Save.
How to add files to a single folder
- Scroll through the Folders carousel or click See All to locate the folder.
- Open the folder.
- Click Add Content.
- Search for or scroll through the available content list.
- Check the box next to the file(s) to be added.
- Click Save.
- Confirm the action by clicking Yes.
How to add files to multiple folders
- Click Add Content to Folder(s) from the Folders carousel.
- Optionally, filter content by selecting tag(s).
- Select the file(s) to be added.
- Choose the folder(s) for the files.
- Repeat steps 3-4 for additional content.
- Click Add Content.
Pro Tips:
- If you’ve selected the wrong folder(s), click the edit pencil to update the selection.
- If you’ve selected the wrong file, click the trashcan to delete the selection.
How to organize folders
You have the flexibility to organize folders according to your preference.
- Click See All in the Folders carousel.
- Select Organize Folders.
- Drag and drop folders to arrange them as desired.
- Once satisfied with the order, click Save.
How to manage folder content
For this we’re going to focus on removing content from a folder.
How to remove a file
Removing a file from a folder does not delete it permanently. To delete the item permanently refer to: How do I manage my brandable documents?
- Locate the folder containing the file.
- Open the folder.
- Click the three-dot icon on the file.
- Choose Remove.
- Confirm the removal by clicking Yes.
