Managing Invitations Sent

When inviting a Service Provider (MSP) partner, be aware that the invitation applies to all users within their organization, not just the individual you are addressing.

In this guide:

Send Invitations

  1. From the side navigation click Channel Command.
  2. Click Manage Access.
  3. Click Invite Partners.
    Invite_1-1
  4. With Share a Link selected, enter the email addresses of the MSP organizations you wish to invite. Separate multiple email addresses with commas.
  5. Click Send once all emails are entered.

Alternatively, you can copy the invitation link and include it in an email campaign managed outside of the Channel Program application. Click Copy to store the link in your clipboard for use in any communication medium.

Remove Invitations

Removing an invitation invalidates the link but does not prevent future invitations to the deleted email address(es).

  1. From the side navigation click Channel Command.
  2. Click Manage Access.
  3. Click the Invites Sent
  4. Locate the invitation you wish to manage.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. Select a reason for removing the invitation. If you select Other, provide an explanation.
  7. Click Remove.
You can repeat these steps for each pending invitation. Alternatively, check the box at the beginning of each row for the invitations you want to remove, then click Remove All. Note that the removal reason must be the same for all selected invitations

Bulk Import via CSV Import

For inviting multiple partners at once, using a CSV file is an efficient option:

Prepare CSV File:

  • Export the email addresses from your contacts (e.g., email, CSM).
  • Ensure the file contains a header row labeled emailAddress. The first record will be ignored during the upload if the header is missing.

Example CSV file format:

emailAddress
sam@email.com
bill@bees.co
bob@plants.com

Save the file in CSV (comma-separated values) format.

  1. From the side navigation click Channel Command.
  2. Click Manage Access.
  3. Click Invite Partners.
  4. In the Invite to your portal dialog, select Import CSV File.
    Invite_2-1
  5. To download a template, click Download a sample file here.
  6. Click Browse from your device.
  7. Browse to the location where the CSV file is stored and select it.
  8. Click Send Invite.
