How do I build my stack with NaviStack?

Building your stack with NaviStack streamlines the process of organizing and accessing the products supporting your clients. 

Access NaviStack

Navigate to NaviStack by clicking on it in the side navigation bar, then select Manage Stack.

Now that you're in, let's explore what NaviStack has to offer. 

How to view vendor details

Want to learn more about vendors and their offerings there are a few ways to accomplish this.

  1. Utilize the global search function to find vendors and their offerings.
  2. Browse through available products organized by category.
  3. In NaviStack, simply click on the vendor icon located below Your Stack.
  4. Navigate to NaviStack > Category View. Locate the vendor icon, hover over it, and click View Vendor.
  5. Go to NaviStack > List View. Click on the company name to access vendor details.

How to build my stack

Information Note: If a selected vendor has Channel Command Portal (PRM) enabled and your company lacks access, an access request will be sent on your behalf. You can cancel the request at any time.

You have two options for adding vendor products to your stack:

One way is to click the Build Stack button. This will open a short form where you can search for the best matching category for the vendor product. Alternatively, from the category view, you can click New Category at the bottom of the view.

The other option is to select one of the default subcategory cards from the category view. Alternatively, from the list view, click New Product for a category that already appears. Don't worry, you can always adjust the category or subcategory to better suit your needs.

When utilizing the Build Stack button, focus on selecting products already in your stack or those you seek more information about.

To start:

  1. Go to Manage Stack and click Build Stack.
  2. Choose a main category and subcategory.

To locate and select products:

Option 1: By default, a list of products in the selected category and subcategory will be presented. Scroll through and check the box next to the desired product(s).

Option 2: Utilize the search vendor products field to find products by vendor or product name.

Once products are selected:

  • Indicate if you're a current partner or seeking more information.
  • If you're a current partner who procured the product through a distributor, specify so and select the distributor.
  • If unable to locate a vendor product, follow the provided link to send a request.

Pro Tips

  1. If a wrong product is selected, use the trashcan button to remove it and repeat the process.
  2. For multiple products in the same category, repeat the steps as needed.

Upon adding vendor products, you'll see the corresponding vendor or distributor icon appear under the selected category in Your Stack. Additionally, the progress bar will reflect the completion status of your stack.
