You can share crucial information with the Channel community, including documents, presentations, videos, and images. While there's a finite list of accepted file formats, we're open to considering others.
In this guide:
Documents
Accepted file formats: CSV, DOC, DOCX, KEY, ODP, PDF, PPT, PPTX, RTF, XLS, XLSX, and TXT
Maximum file size: 5MB
Where to upload documents:
- Company Profile > Vendor Only: Vendor company profiles are visible to the community and may appear in the portal if enabled.
- Channel Command Portal > Vendor: Brandable Content and Vendor Documentation, accessible only to approved Service Providers.
Images
Accepted file formats: GIF, JPEG, JPG, JFIF, PNG, SVG, and WebP
Maximum file size: 5MB
Recommended image sizes:
- Banner:
- Vendor Company & User Profiles: 1800px x 400px
- MSP or Distributor Company Profiles: 1600px x 400px
- Channel Command Portal: 1600px x 400px
- Avatar / Logo: 256px x 256px
- Events Calendar: 361px x 212px
- Products: 241px × 135px (based on display space)
- Blog Post: 1920px x 640px
Where to upload images:
- My Profile: Banner, Avatar (profile pic), Content (only visible if profile is set to Public).
- Company Profile > MSP & Vendor: Banner, Logo (MSP profiles are not visible to the public)
- Company Profile > Vendor Only: Content, Products.
- Industry Events: Events Calendar (approved events appear in public calendar).
- Channel Command Portal > Vendor: Banner, Vendor Assets (accessible to approved Service Providers).
Videos
Accepted file formats: MP4, MOV, and WebM
Maximum file size: 500MB
Where to upload videos:
- My Profile: Content (visible to the community if profile is set to Public).
- Company Profile > Vendor Only: Content, Products (visible to the community). Videos under content are portal-enabled.
- Channel Command Portal > Vendor: Vendor Videos (accessible to approved Service Providers).
