The behavior of document handling may vary across different web browsers. Here's how to adjust settings in some common browsers.
- Google Chrome:
- Chrome offers settings specifically for PDF documents.
- Access settings via – Settings > Privacy and security > Site Settings > Additional Permissions > Additional content settings > PDF documents.
- Firefox:
- Firefox allows you to choose whether files should be downloaded or opened directly.
- Find settings under – Settings > General > Applications.
- MS Edge:
-
- Edge provides settings for both PDF and Office documents.
- However, there may be issues with non-Microsoft 365 documents opening in Edge.
- Check settings via – Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > PDF documents and Settings > Downloads.
