Whether good or bad, reviews help improve partner trust, and loyalty, and help you to improve your product or service stack.
All reviews submitted undergo a review by Channel Program before they are shown on your products page. Once the review has been approved, you’ll receive an email letting you know that a new review is available.
How to know if there are unread reviews
Unread reviews are specific to whether you as the vendor have read a review that has been submitted.
To see all reviews, read or unread, click Product Reviews from the side navigation.
If there are any unread reviews, you’ll see a badge in the side navigation. Once a review is read by yourself or another administrator in your organization the number will decrease.
How to verify the reviewer
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- Locate the review. Click View Review.
- If you know the user is a partner, click Verify this reviewer as a product user.
If you’ve confirmed later that the user is not a product user click Remove Verification.
How to reply to a review
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- Locate the review. Click View Review.
- Click Reply to this review.
- Enter a response. Your response must be between 30 and 1,000 characters.
- Click Save Reply.
How to edit a reply
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- Locate the review. Click View Review.
- Click Edit.
- Make the edits you want.
- Click Save Reply.
How to remove a reply
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- Locate the review. Click View Review.
- Click Remove.
- Confirm the removal. Click Yes.
How to export reviews
Exporting reviews in CSV (comma separated values) format, is a great way for you to share feedback with your team.
The Export as CSV button will only appear if your product(s)/service(s) have at least one review available.
- From the side navigation, click Product Reviews.
- Click Export as CSV.
If you use Microsoft™ Excel note the following formatting issues that may appear.
- Issue: ‚Äô may appear in place of an apostrophe. Example: I‚Äôve rather than I’ve.
- Solution: Complete a find and replace to clean-up the data changing ’ to an apostrophe.
- Issue: Answers of 1-10 and 11-25 will appear on the export as dates based on current year. Example: 10-Jan (1/10/2023).
- Solution: Complete a find and replace to change the field from date to text.
To turn a field from date to text, simply add an apostrophe before the numbers and update 1/10/2023 or 11/25/2023 to be '1-10.
